Deceive by Michelle Irwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Straighten up, pull it around, and get back on the track.
Declan Reede's life is in a tail-spin. Although he knows what he wants, he can't see the road that will take him there. Wherever he turns, new secrets, lies, and half-truths threaten to send him crashing off-course. To deserve his family, he must fight his past mistakes and prove himself worthy.
But can someone out to deceive cost him the life he now craves?
We pick up where Decide finished off. Declan is still trying to put his life back together although he is his own worst enemy.
Michelle Irwin once again takes us on a roller coast of emotions with this bad boy trying to make good and she explores the emotions that push forward when we are deceived by those we love.
Great cliff hanger but as we know there is more of this story to tell I don't mind being left wondering what is next and when we can get our hands on it.
I will have to mention I received this book free as an ARC and I would strongly suggest that you read this book in conjunction with the Novella - Decide (The Declan Reede Story 0.5) and Decline (Book 1).
