However after attending a few too many funerals recently and hitting the 50+ mark I thought it was time to share my thoughts, not that I am being morbid or anything like that but I figured if I don't do something sooner rather than later I am end up regretting it.
So here I am and although I am not a talented writer like my lovely daughter nor technologically adept like my handsome son, I figure I may have something to contribute even if no one reads any of my blogs I will know that the words I have penned are circulating in cyber space somewhere and maybe one day someone will get something from it.
So what am I going to blog about, who knows even I don't however I have a lot of interests in scrap-booking and Photography as well as family history so maybe it will come from this, I am a child, a parent, a grandparent, a spouse, a relative (coz, aunt etc), a friend and just me so there should be some inspiration forth coming to write about.
It will also get me out of my comfort zone and relief the boredom of a working week & commute.
So as I take my baby steps into this world and if you are reading this please give me some feedback so I can improve my blogging.
Just keep on blogging.... ah yes the pot and the kettle and something like a colour black that isn't really a colour.... I think the burning desire to pen our thoughts, hopes and dreams and at times rants, raves and utter crap must run through our veins. I've been contemplating a blog, and an adventure into the world of fiction. It all seems so daunting really. There are times when I feel as though the thing I do for money aka my job, not only consumes the last ounce of energy I have, but sucks the creativity from my very bones. Longing, for the crisp waters of tropical paradise to re-hydrate the withered strings of creative prose....... Oh that's right, I do live in a tropical paradise of sorts..... so again just keep blogging!! xx
ReplyDeleteYou need to take a leaf out of your cousin's book and write a book, I know she has 1 your have 3 but yours are older and hers still in the young stage, yes yours are into sports - thats what Dad is for. I am sure Michelle will give you some create pointers.
